Originally from Smithfield, NC, he pursued his education at NC State, where he obtained a bachelor's degree in Human Biology. He furthered his academic journey at the ECU School of Dental Medicine, graduating with honors.
Dr. Mast's decision to become a dentist arose during his senior year of college. Drawn to healthcare professions due to his desire to make a difference in people's lives, he found dentistry to be the perfect fit.
